How does Mix & Match work?
Buy seats from any plan tier. Each seat contributes its resources (AI actions, template creates, numbering operations) into a single shared pool. Your entire team draws from this pool regardless of which seat type they're assigned to.
Can I combine Starter and Professional seats?
Yes. For example, you could buy 5 Starter seats (6,500 AI actions) and 2 Professional seats (6,800 AI actions) for a total shared pool of 13,300 AI actions per month.
What counts as an AI action?
An AI action is any operation that uses AI processing: editing a document, answering a question, or generating content from templates. Simple operations like viewing documents don't count.
What happens if we exceed our shared pool?
We'll notify you at 80% and 100% usage. You can add more seats to increase the pool or upgrade to Enterprise for unlimited usage.
Can I change seat types or quantities?
Yes, you can add, remove, or change seat types at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes, annual plans receive a 20% discount. Contact us for details.
Do unused AI actions roll over to the next month?
No. Usage quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. Any unused AI actions, template creates, or numbering operations are forfeited and do not carry over, accumulate, or roll over to subsequent billing cycles.
Are custom roles included in Starter?
Yes. Custom roles, per-user permission overrides, and per-file restrictions are included on every paid plan and on the Free Trial. There's no upcharge for governance; it's how the platform works.
Is the Sessions Dashboard included on the free trial?
Yes. The full Sessions Dashboard (Active triage, History timeline, and Settings tab) is included on every plan, including Free Trial. CSV export of audit data is included too.
What's the audit log retention?
Audit logs are kept indefinitely. Every audited action is recorded in a dedicated per-tenant log with no expiry. That's what we want for compliance.
Separately, paused drafts have a configurable retention period (default 30 days, range 7–365 days, set firm-wide on the Sessions Dashboard Settings tab). That's a draft cleanup setting, not an audit-log setting; the audit record of the draft (and its eventual discard) is kept forever.
Does the Compliance Pre-Check cost extra per AI action?
No. The Compliance Pre-Check runs before every AI action that modifies a document and is included in every plan, including Free Trial. There's no per-check charge.
